First and foremost, I thank God for giving me the songs and talent to share
and spread His message. To my wife Jean and daughters A and E, whose
unconditional love, prayers, and understanding made it possible for this
project to be recorded. Thanks to my mom, Kay, Paul and Ruth Miller and

 "Heart's Desire" includes 11 songs. This CD is
titled after one of Ted's favorite bible verses, Psalm 37:4 "Seek your happiness in the
Lord and He will give you your heart's desire." That's Ted's motto to live by. His songs
reflect on prayer, giving your life to Jesus, and having an intimate relationship with God.
All the songs he writes have some part of him in them somewhere. Song titles from
"Heart's Desire" seem to reflect that as well as songs from his "Footprints" CD. There
is definitely a common thread between the two CDs. The listener will enjoy a wide range
of musical styles as they listen to "Heart's Desire' including two instrumentals.

Chuck Kiser, from Virginia, who is credited to writing two songs on Ted's
first CD, was
called upon again. Ted couldn't pass up the opportunity to record
another song of his,
"Near the Heart of God." Micki Luetkemeyer and Ted met
years ago when they played
in a Christian band together. She had written the song"Stand Firm." Ted had included that
song in his live sets over the last few years and it seemed to fit with the other songs he
was preparing for this CD."Here's My Heart" is a beautiful ballad written by David W. Huff.
He was part
of a successful Christian band called "David and the Giants" who recorded
the
song back in the late 80's. Finally, "Choose This Day" was co-written by a close
friend of
Ted's from Virginia, songwriter and musician, Laura Readyoff from the
Christian band
